As Told Over Brunch is a home for intelligent discourse from the twenty-something perspective - so the stuff you gossip about over mimosas on Sunday morning or over takeout on your friend's couch when happy hour ends too early. We love chatting about our lives, whether it be the relationships we’re building (or destroying), lessons we've learned at work, struggles at school, growing pains we've felt, or even the food we’re talking over.

Sometimes it's the little things that really count. When I bought my house I had never really done a lot of housework before, and then all of a sudden I'm taking care of a yard, trying to fix things when they're breaking and dealing with the bugs that I used to just wait until someone else killed.

I went to Las Vegas a few weeks ago, and one of my goals -- other than seeing the Grand Canyon -- was to do a bottomless brunch on Sunday. Two years ago, I was in the hospital getting my leg stitched back together after a falling mirror made chicken cutlets out of my shin.
Read MoreI spent a weekend in Annapolis a few weeks ago, and I went back to Miss Shirley's Cafe, which I've reviewed already. However, this experience was a bit different. I -- gasp -- actually have a few negative things to say for once in a brunch review. I take some of the blame in this though, as most of the problem stems from my dish selection.
Read MoreI've been to Fado Irish Pub in Annapolis quite a bit, as it's a stone's throw away from my grandparent's apartment. I've done brunch, dinner, lunch and drink there, but this is the first time I've actually brunch-ed while doing As Told Over Brunch reviews. So here we go.
