Richmond Brunch Weekend is Over... Now What?
What. A. Weekend.
There are countless people to thank, restaurants to applaud and sponsors to appreciate after this weekend. So many people pitched into to make the second annual Richmond Brunch Weekend successful, from the fantastic co-chairs (shout-out to Cazey and Leanne) to volunteers and beyond. But after seeing the turnout this weekend, it's easy to say: it's been worth it.
While we all might be sighing a breath of relief that everything went off without a hitch, we're also left idle.
So what now that brunch weekend is over?
Donate to Massey Cancer Center
Massey Cancer Center needs money year-round to continue to do what they do. Unfortunately, we've all probably been affected by cancer in some context, but Massey does many awesome things to help those with cancer and research life-saving treatments. Richmond Brunch Weekend is one weekend out of the year, but their need is always. Think about donating when you're considering charitable organizations.
Relax and eat-in
If you're like me, you went brunching hard this weekend, and you might be wanting some time in to relax. Aaaaand you might have spent too much money at the Kickoff event on the Alliance Ale and now your wallet is a bit too light (me, I did that). Thankfully, our sponsor OrderUp's coupon is still live, so you can order food right to your door AND get $7 off. Check them out and be sure to enter the code RVAbrunch for the discount.
Brunch year round at local restaurants
We partnered with 30 wonderful restaurants for the weekend, but they're open year round! Don't wait until next year to go support that-restaurant-you've-always-wanted-to-try until next brunch weekend. Living in Richmond is a privilege, as we have so many good options for local food. Eat local and support our city!

On the weekends, we lend our taste buds to reviews of local brunch options (spoiler alert, we love almost every place in Richmond). If you ever need brunch recommendations, here's a quick guide to where to brunch in Richmond based on several criteria.
